Our Story
Harsha Foundation was born from real life — from struggle, from survival, and from an unwavering belief that no one should have to face crisis alone.
The Members of our Board have lived through trauma, homelessness, addiction, loss, and hardship firsthand. Having walked the long, painful road themselves, they knew that healing and rebuilding doesn’t happen from waiting months on a list or feeling like another number. Healing happens when someone sees you, hears you, and walks beside you in your time of need.
Harsha Foundation is here to be that place —
A place where you don’t have to wait weeks for help.
A place where you can walk in broken, scared, or desperate — and find real people ready to help you, face-to-face, in the moment you need it most.
We are building a 24-hour trauma and crisis centre:
A safe haven where anyone struggling with homelessness, mental health challenges, addiction, trauma, domestic violence, or financial hardship can come for immediate relief, support, guidance, and practical assistance — all under one roof.
We offer hot meals, food parcels, clothing, showers, laundry services, hygiene packs, crisis counselling access, addiction recovery pathways, life skills workshops, and genuine human connection.
We are building a new kind of community — one where hope is restored, dignity is honoured, and second chances are real.
At Harsha Foundation, we believe every struggle is real.
We believe healing is possible.
And we believe that when compassion meets action, lives are changed forever.
